REGISTRATION FOR THE SECONDARY SCHOOL ADMISSION TEST (SSAT) WHERE: Educational Assessment Associates 5125 Macarthur Blvd. N.W. Suite #16 Washington, D.C. 20016 WHEN: The SSAT is administered at the above center during the entire year, including summer months, to students in grades five to eleven who are applying for admission to an independent school. INFORMATION AND REGISTRATION: For information please call (202) 363-9805 and choose option #2 to leave a message for Margo von Kaenel. Please leave your home and work telephone numbers and your call will be returned promptly. At that time we will schedule a date for your child to take the test. Mrs. von Kaenel will provide you with a web site address to register for the test with SSAT. YOU MUST SCHEDULE THE DATE WITH HER BEFORE YOU GO ON LINE. The fee to register with SSAT is $110.00 payable on line with Visa or Master Card. The fee for the administration of the test by Educational Assessment Associates is $175.00 ($225.00 for Special Accommodations) payable by check or money order to Educational Assessment Associates. When you register on line you will be asked for a TEST SITE CODE #. Please use code # 0210. DAY OF TEST: Please bring the following items: 1. Two # 2 pencils and a good eraser. 2. A snack and a drink for two short breaks. 3. Check payable to Educational Assessment Associates. WE DO NOT ACCEPT CREDIT CARDS . 4. If your child has been approved for Special Accommodations, you are responsible for all materials needed. 5. Please arrive for testing 10 minutes before scheduled time. SPECIAL ACCOMODATIONS: A student with a documented disability may apply for Special Accommodations at an Independent Test Center. A Special Testing Application must be completed by an authorized administrator at the school your child currently attends and sent to SSAT for their approval.
